The travels of a singer songwriter are as unique as the songs they write. Verse to Voice is looking to find that talent to showcase and provide an opportunity to further the journey with exposure to industry pro’s, social media exposure and an opportunity to perform and compete for the chance to win great prizes that can support them in their process.

Meet the Buskers
We are excited to welcome back fan favorites Seb & Fritzzz the 2024 People’s Choice award winners! Seb Whipits is a German Whip performer who has paired up with the amazing & masterful DJ Fritzzz. Growing up in the small town of Kleinstadt gave Seb ample time to perfect his art as the only whip juggler in the world. DJ Fritzzz spent his youth taking in and mimicking the sounds of the underground techno scene. The show features whip cracking, whip juggling, and an unbelievable duel fire whip finale all backed by DJ Fritzzz's amazing ability to create sound and music, with just his mouth.

HEROMACRO consists of HERO and MAKO performing incredible ACRObatics right before your eyes. One is a Ninja, the other a Geisha, displaying the rich culture and comedy of Japan. Hailing from Hiroshima and Kyoto, HEROMACRO has years of experience performing in festivals and on the street across Europe and around the world. HEROMACRO unites their audience with impressive feats of strength and flexibility, death defying stunts and… chopsticks. All strung together with a quirky sense of humour that is truly Japanese and very entertaining.
Now a Toronto-based juggler and performer, Edward Skwirsky knows how to entertain crowds of all ages! Years of experience performing with The Russian State and European Circuses as well as the famous Cirque du Soleil, allow him to provide quality shows that will amaze your brain and tickle your funny bone. Edward offers everything from magic tricks, to physical comedy, to incredible juggling and presents a hilarious and engaging street show the whole family will love.
Let’s welcome for the very first time to Port Credit - Joey Albert a professional circus and street performer from Ottawa. His show is a fabulous one-man-comedy-juggling-acrobatic show with a rockabilly vibe that will have your feet tappin’ and your hands clappin’ and will definitely make you laugh till you cry. His tricks are big, his jokes are really funny and he does things that will make you want to close your eyes – but don’t, cause you won’t want to miss a thing!

Pancho Libre “ The MEXICAN” is back and brings his highly-skilled, hilarious show to Port Credit again this year. His performance incorporates amazing balance, strength and skill with comedy and laughter to captivate and inspire audiences everywhere! Pancho started his career in Mexico City at a time when circus was a rather inaccessible art form for Mexicans. Determined to pursue his dreams, he traveled to Cuba to study under an ex-Olympic gymnast and head coach of Cuba's National Circus School. Pancho then traveled across the Pacific Ocean to Beijing, China to become the first Mexican to train with the world renowned National Circus School of China.
We are proud to be welcoming back our local rising star Ryan Brown this year.
Ryan started his career in Port Credit many moons ago and is now back to show off his internationally acclaimed magic show with amazing skillset and an edgy tone. Ryan brings a Las Vegas type show filled with BIG tricks, BIG illusions and a BIG finale that will be sure to leave you on the edge of your seat with. Everyone leaves scratching their head and wondering – Did that really just happen. Come out and see for yourself!
